Install the updates:

From the command line run "sudo yum clean all", "sudo yum update awicp*", and then "sudo yum install awicp_radiusmodules".

Modify configuration files

Run "sudo nano /etc/raddb/modules/smartedge" and the contents of that file should be updated to look like this:

smartedge {

          forwardpolicy = "in: captiveportal"

          widirectserver = ""

          sharedsecret   = "widirect"

Be sure to update the forward policy and shared secret to the appropriate values.

Run "sudo nano /etc/raddb/sites-available/default" and add the text "smartedge" to both the authorize and accounting sections. Add the "smartedge" line in about the middle of the appropriate section.

Be sure the client name and shared secret is added to the clients.conf file as well. This file can be modified directly through the GUI page on the WiDirect. The Radius page is under the Services menu. Be sure to restart Radius after making these changes. Radius can be restarted either from the GUI or by typing "sudo service radiusd restart"

Modify GUI settings

On the WiDirect there is a SmartEdge menu item under the System Config menu. On the SmartEdge page you can enable SmartEdge support for a profile, and set a number of paramaters. Included on that page are the forward policy, shared secret, WiDirect IP, and SmartEdge IP. Some of these settings may duplicate the settings above, but must be properly set in all places.
